Financial Incentives

Financial incentives are available to help offset the cost of the assessment and the improvements. All incentives are subject to specific improvements meeting pre-determined Test-out requirements (post-diagnostic testing). Please discuss with your contractor for more details.

Installation of R-6 or greater insulation blanket on Electric Water heater Only	$50
Attic insulation improvements (in conjunction with air sealing)	$200

Improve duct sealing	$100
Potential Total Rebates	$1,900

Note that reimbursement for the preceding improvements may not apply as your home may not be eligible for the improvement. Determination of eligibility will occur as a result of the assessment.

You must be a Georgia Power customer to be eligible for this program. Assessment and improvement work must be performed through a contractor participating in Georgia Power's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. All documents must be signed, submitted and reviewed for accuracy. All work is subject to third party quality verification. Incentives are limited; they are offered for a two-year pilot period and are subject to change. Any agreement is between you and the contractor. Georgia Power takes no responsibility for the agreement between you and your contractor or the contractor’s work. Prices for the contractor’s work is set by the contractor.
